Kirsten Gillibrand Takes the New York Senate Seat


Rep. Kirsten Gillibrand was elected to office in congress in 2006, she also recently had a birthday on Dec. 9, she lives in Hudson, New York. She is married to her husband Jonathan.
The new senator went to Dartmouth College in 1988, and U.C.L.A. in 1991. She earned a law and special counseling degree. While working in congress she worked on various committees including: Agriculture (18th of 25 D): Livestock, Dairy & Poultry; Horticulture & Organic Agriculture; Conservation, Credit, Energy & Research. Armed Services (28th of 34 D): Seapower & Expeditionary Forces; Terrorism, Unconventional Threats & Capabilities.
Secretary Of State Hilliary Clinton tells new senator "good luck and you'll make a fine senator" Kirsten also worked on Hillary's campaign for the exact same senate seat so many year earlier.
