Is Tupac Alive? I think So

Tupac Shukur died on September 13, 1996 after being shot multiple times in a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas. To go into the background surrounding Tupac's gang life, successful rap career, and the many enemies he made over the course of his life would take a lot more time than I'm willing to go into here. However, I have heard good things about the (aptly?) titled 2003 documentary "Tupac: Resurrection" in case you're interested). According to many Tupac fans, he's alive, most likely in hiding and/or in a federal witness protection program. The search term "Tupac is alive" on Google yields 248,000 results--many of the articles that come up, like this one, Top 20 Reasons Why 2Pac is Alive, attempt to provide answers to exactly why Tupac would have faked his death.

Now, TMZ has posted a photo, claiming it is the rapper drinking at a bar in New Orleans last weekend.

What do you think? Is it really Tupac? Just a look-a-like?

A grand jury in Manhattan has voted to indict two New York City police officers in the December rape of a woman

A grand jury in Manhattan has voted to indict two New York City police officers in the December rape of a woman who claimed she was sexually attacked after the officers escorted her from a taxicab to her apartment in the East Village while she was intoxicated, according to law enforcement officials and other people familiar with the case.

The grand jury last week charged both officers — Kenneth Moreno and Franklin L. Mata — though the details of the indictment were not immediately disclosed, according to the people, who spoke on the condition of anonymity.

The officers, who have been on modified duty, stripped of their guns and badges and working in administrative assignments, are expected to surrender on Tuesday morning and face arraignment in criminal court.

“Since I haven’t been advised of the formal charges, I am not in a position to comment at this time,” said Edward J. Mandery, a lawyer for Officer Mata.

Stephen C. Worth, a lawyer for Officer Moreno, said: “My client will appear in court tomorrow and enter a plea of not guilty. We look forward to a rigorous examination of the district attorney’s evidence.”

The case came to light in March when officials disclosed the nature of the investigation. Officials said the woman, who was not identified, went to the hospital on Dec. 7, the morning of the reported rape, and also contacted prosecutors who notified the Police Department’s Internal Affairs Bureau, law enforcement officials said.

Although both officers were at the woman’s apartment, only one of them is suspected of raping the woman, according to a person who has been briefed on the investigation. Investigators have been looking at a theory of rape in which someone has intercourse with a person too intoxicated to give consent, the person said. State law differentiates between rape under that circumstance and forcible sex.

Video surveillance helped internal investigators unravel what they say occurred.

The video, from a surveillance camera at a bar near the woman’s building, shows two uniformed officers helping her into the building at 1:10 a.m. and then returning twice over the next two hours — spending 34 minutes in the building during their final visit, according to the bar owner, who gave the video to the district attorney’s office.

During the investigation, the authorities said, officials were unable to find Officer Mata’s memo book — a notebook officers use to log their activities and movements.

At some point after the officers escorted the woman back to her apartment, they were dispatched on a ”radio run,” to report to the scene of an accident, according to one person briefed on the investigation.

After finishing at the accident scene, the officers returned to the woman’s apartment, but they did not report that they had completed their run, the person said. Instead, according to the surveillance tape, the officers did not indicate that their duties at the accident site were completed until after they left the woman’s apartment for the final time, at 3:33 a.m., the person said.

In a search of Officer Moreno’s locker on Dec. 19, police officials found a packet of heroin, the authorities said. The drugs were believed to be unrelated to the rape allegations, but it is unclear why the heroin was in the locker.

The person familiar with the case said the officer could be charged with possession of a controlled substance — though the officer could argue that he had confiscated the heroin but simply forgot to formally turn it in as evidence.

Alicia Maxey Greene, a spokeswoman for the office of the Manhattan district attorney, Robert M. Morgenthau, declined to comment on the developments.

Verizon iPHONE is here! who's next?

If USA Today says it, it must be truthy -- hence the enthusiasm for today's report that sources close to the discussions are confirming an ongoing confab between Apple and Verizon on the topic of bringing everyone's favorite smartphone to America's most popular cell carrier. The future prospect of a Verizon iPhone, originally rumored and countermanded for this year, has perked up the ears of AT&T naysayers around the USA.

Although the paper cites Verizon's CDMA network as the target for the iPhone deployment option, most other observers (including Verizon executives) have noted the upcoming LTE/4G network, built atop the GSM standard that the iPhone already knows and loves, as the likely deployment environment. Robert swooned over the possibility of an LTE-enabled iPhone back in February; of course, way back in 2007, Verizon's attitude towards Apple's phone was far less conciliatory.

Suspended Phillies reliever J.C. Romero filed suit Monday against a nutritional supplement manufacturer alleging an unlisted ingredient in one of its products caused him to test positive under Major League Baseball's Drug Policy, according to The Associated Press.

Romero, who is suspended for the first 50 games of the 2009 season and will probably lose about $1.4 million in salary, is seeking punitive and compensatory damages in Camden County, N.J.

The 32-year-old left-hander said he tested positive for steroids on Aug. 26 because a supplement he was taking, 6-OXO Extreme, did not specify it included the banned substance androstenedione.

Romero is taking action against the companies that manufactured 6-OXO, Ergopharm Inc. and Proviant Technologies, and the companies that own and operate the Vitamin Shoppe and GNC, according to The Philadelphia Daily News.

People Want their Own postal code? 252 Really!

REQUEST has been made to secure an individual postcode for the Mytholmroyd and Cragg Vale area.

The villages have always used HX7, which is the same as nearby Hebden Bridge but that is causing increasing confusion, according to Hebden Royd Town councillor John Beacroft-Mitchell.

"Mytholmroyd and Cragg Vale have close geographic and civic relationships with Hebden Bridge, but are separate communities with different characters and economic needs.

"Urgent parcels are sometimes delayed or returned to senders because of mix-ups over the database," he said.

Vicar of Mytholmroyd James Allison said: "I think it's a really good idea. We have thought for a long time that Mytholm-royd should have a separate postal code

Earthquake too Damn Mexico!

A 5.6 magnitude earthquake shook Mexico City early Monday afternoon, sending frightened residents into the streets and saturating phone lines, but causing no apparent significant damage.

The quake rattled nerves of Mexicans already coping with an outbreak of the swine flu that has killed an estimated 149 people.

The combination of the higher death toll from the flu and the quake weakened the peso, which had lost nearly 5% from Friday's close to MXN13.975 per U.S. dollar.

The quake briefly interrupted a press conference in which Health Minister Jose Angel Cordova was giving an update on the flu emergency situation.

The U.S. Geological Survey said the epicenter was in the Pacific coast state of Guerrero, home to the resort of Acapulco, which lies roughly 360 kilometers from Mexico City.

The earthquake's depth made serious damage less likely, said Jim Dewey, a research geophysicist with USGS.

"Certainly strong shaking could be perceived, but it wouldn't likely cause extensive damage," Dewey said. "It was 25 miles deep, so that puts some distance between it and the surface of the ground."

Telephone service in parts of Mexico City was lost briefly. A spokesman for phone company Telefonos de Mexico (TMX) said lines were temporarily saturated with call volume, as usually happens after earthquakes, and that there was no reported damage to exchanges.

Mexicans, accustomed to earthquakes, largely shrugged off the tremor, worried more about the killer flu. "Ah, we're accustomed to earthquakes around here," said Leopoldo Garcia, a 70-year-old retiree walking around the city.

Is mexico being punished by God? It the Swine Flu the new Plague?

According to CNN, The number of killer swine flu cases identified in Queens jumped from eight to 28 overnight, but no one is gravely ill, officials said today. Plague

Mayor Bloomberg said another 17 possible victims are being monitored but added all the cases are associated with the St. Francis Prep school in Fresh Meadows."We have one reported cluster of swine flu at one school," Bloomberg said.

He said calls to every intensive care unit in the city turned up no one who is sick with the flu. Dr. Richard Besser at the federal Centers for Disease Control said the jump in the Queens numbers "represents additional testing, not a spread of that cluster."

About 100 students and parents at the school are believed to have been infected with the flu. Only one person was hospitalized and has recovered. The CDC said there are now 40 cases in America, none serious. The World Health Organization said the killer flu was spreading globally.

"WHO is very concerned about the number of cases that are appearing, and the fact that more and more cases are appearing in different countries," said WHO spokesman Paul Garwood.

Cops Tasered ex-NBA star Jayson Williams Monday after the troubled Hooper went nuts in his luxury Manhattan hotel room, Tried to kill him self?

According to ESPN news, Cops Tasered ex-NBA star Jayson Williams Monday after the troubled Hooper went nuts in his luxury Manhattan hotel room, police sources said.

The popular New Jersey Nets center, who beat the rap trial for shooting his chauffeur in 2002, was rushed to St. Vincent's Hospital in handcuffs after cops found suicide notes and empty bottles of pills in his room, sources said.

"He was barricaded, drinking, taking pills. He was overwhelmed," a police source said. "It all came crashing down."

Police were called to the Hilton Embassy Suites in Battery Park City at 4 a.m., after a female friend called security to report a disturbance in Williams' 15th-floor suite, the sources said.

Williams, 41, trashed his room, forcing Emergency Service Unit officers to subdue the former All-Star with a Taser gun, sources said. It took two sets of handcuffs to restrain the husky star, cops said.

Cops found several suicide notes, including a message scrawled on the wall. They said he was distraught over his divorce, his parents' illnesses and his impending retrial in the chauffeur-shooting case.

Guests arrived home to find the posh hotel transformed into a crime scene. "There were about cop cars and an ambulance outside," said Annette Peters, 29, of Minneapolis.

It was not immediately known if he injured himself or if he was armed.

A few hours later, Williams' manager insisted the troubled ex-athlete was on the mend.

Ashton Challenges CNN on Twitter? Really

The 31-year-old actor recently threw down the gauntlet, challenging CNN and its founder, Ted Turner. In a Web video posted earlier this week, Kutcher said he would ding-dong-ditch Turner's house if he beat CNN to 1 million. (For those unfamiliar with the classic adolescent prank, ding-dong-ditch is when you ring some one's doorbell and run away.)

"I find it astonishing that one person can actually have as big of a voice online as what an entire media company can on Twitter," Kutcher said in a video he posted on qik.com. "I just thought that was kind of an amazing comment on the state of our media."

Really is this news for us? this shit is really ridiculous! this guy barely has a TV show and is with a hot lady but is this worth talking about Ashton or is this some right wing way of distracting us from the real stuff huh right?

Man Sent to Jail For owing 27,900 in Back Child Support for 14 Kids from 13 different Women! WTF!

According to Fint New, Authorities in Michigan say a man fathered 14 children with 13 women and owes more than $530,000 in unpaid child support. A Michigan newspaper reports 42-year-old Thomas Frazier was jailed Thursday.

Court records say he hasn't made a support payment in six years. The newspaper says the unemployed man could be held for 90 days if he doesn't pay $27,900. Frazier says he thinks he fathered only three of the children and it's unrealistic for authorities to expect him to pay child support that was $3,000 a month at one point.Frazier remains held at the Genesee County Jail.

My Piece!

Now I don't think that this is totally a bust because this guy shouldn't have worn a damn condom with all of these women if he didn't want the repercussions right? This guy wasn't thinking about tomorrow was he? Now here's some food for thought why not jail mothers who are on the system, and have six plus children. Clearly these women aren't taking care of them and aren't being productive to society by just being a breeding house for more poverty! I know it's harsh but there isn't a Crack baby there is a low income housing one tho...

Teach them muthaFer's how to fish already, I don't' care how this shit is ridiculous!

A Young Boy Commits Suicide After Months of Gender Slurs and Remarks!

According to NBC, An 11-year-old boy was found dead in an apparent suicide Monday in Springfield, Massachusetts. The boy's mother says school bullies tormented her son with daily assaults of anti-gay taunts.

Carl Joseph Walker-Hoover hanged himself by tying an electrical cord around his neck that was fastened to a support beam in his home after enduring another day of being taunted at New Leadership Charter School.

Sirdeaner L. Walker, the boy's mother, said she had repeatedly called the school to intervene in the bullying over the past six months. She said she called administrators weekly to discuss the issue.

“They were always saying, 'you're gay, you must be gay, you act like a girl',” Walker told Springfield-based The Republican.

Carl told his mother that he had received a five-day suspension for bumping into a girl, who shouted at him and threatened him with harm, on the day he took his own life. School officials deny the boy received a five-day suspension but concede the boy was being punished for the episode.

“This tragic loss of life is the latest example of why anti-LGBT defamation must be eradicated from our culture,” said Neil G. Giuliano, president of the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD), a media watchdog and gay rights group, in a statement.

“Words matter and can turn what should be a safe place for learning into a dangerous and isolating [place] for many students – gay and straight – who regularly face verbal and physical attacks,” he added.

What Tea PARTY?

Jenny Beth Martin remembers the day she became a protester.
Her husband's business had gone under, and the two were cleaning houses in Atlanta to stay afloat. That was when they heard about a tirade against President Obama's mortgage bailout scheme by a financial news analyst calling for a modern-day Boston Tea Party revolt.

"We had just lost our house and had ... moved into the rental house," says Martin, 38, whose husband Lee's temporary-employee firm had 5,000 workers before it went down in the recession.

"I didn't want other people paying for my mortgage, and I wanted to prevent that in other places," she says.

What started out as a handful of people blogging about their anger over federal spending — the bailouts, the $787 billion stimulus package and Obama's budget — has grown into scores of so-called tea parties across the country. The biggest demonstration so far drew 6,000 people in Cincinnati.

A nationwide protest in 500 cities and towns is scheduled for Wednesday, the deadline for filing federal income tax returns.

The goal is to pressure Congress and states to reject government spending as a way out of the recession and build an anti-spending coalition around regular taxpayers.

"The tea parties are a means, not an end," says lawyer Mark Meckler of Grass Valley, Calif.

Chris Brown Moves on Quick Right? New Girlfriend Erica Jackson

According to MTV news, Chris Brown was recently photographed shooting hoops at Mary Washington and posing with the women's basketball team on a visit that coincided with the school's "White Ribbon Campaign" devoted to raising awareness about violence toward women.

Following an alleged brief reconciliation at a home owned by Diddy in Miami shortly after the alleged assault, Brown and Rihanna have not been spotted together in public for several weeks. The unnamed source told the Daily News that while Jackson is "no Rihanna," the general feeling among Brown's friends and family is that she is going to be good for him. "[Erica] has a good head on her shoulders; she's solid," the source reportedly said. "... At the very least, she's helping to ease Chris' pain over Rihanna. He was mad in love with that girl."

Brown and Jackson were reported to have been seen leaving a Sunset Boulevard tattoo parlor on Saturday afternoon. While a spokesperson for Brown did not return requests for comment at press time, an unnamed representative for the singer told the paper, "He did go to a tattoo parlor with someone from the studio named Dean. There was a woman there who was a friend of Dean. There is no truth to this at all. Chris does not know the woman nor does he know the name of the woman."

A Woman was Raped in New York Sub Way While Train Operator and Clerk WATCH FROM BOOTHS!

Before we get to all the news and fluff! Why don't people think that they cant help! Standing by a watching something like this happen, in front of your eyes and doing nothing! Wow they were both men! MEN DAMMIT! Neither one of them felt that they should have stepped up and made him stop! If that was their daughter they would right? But since this person was of lesser value, being moral and at least human was out of the question.

Why Not right he didn't seem to have a weapon or any thing according to reports, however these two men decided that letting her get raped for a full ten minutes! they police arrived after the fact, as always. This shit has to stop a similar case like this happened where a woman was stabbed by a man and screamed for help, but no one came! A Report says that 13- 25 people heard her scream " Help! He's Stabbing Me! HELP ME!" what the fuck is wrong with people to day, are women that devalued that we can just let men do what ever they please! There isn't a law that punishes people for not helping but shouldn't there?

Just think if you were there during a crime like this and people just watched as it happened would it kill you inside? I'm so sorry this had to happen to her, there should be a law that companies that receive federal funding from the state should have to have transit police in place during all hours of operations to the public! Point blank and in that way they were negligent right!

Suicide a Popular MALL!? 17 yr old boy was landed on and was taken to the hopspital with serious injuries

A woman leaped to her death from the third floor of the Queens Center Mall around 3 p.m. on Wednesday, landing on and injuring a high school student on the lower level of the shopping center in Elmhurst, four stories below. Shoppers screamed and ran. Police officers and the Queens district attorney, Richard A. Brown, arrived to help calm the crowd.

Mr. Brown said the woman was in her early to mid-50s and in the company of two teenagers when she jumped. It appeared that she had leaped from near a T-Mobile cellphone kiosk in the center of the atrium, and landed near a Tax Solvers kiosk on the lower level, set up to deal with the busy tax season.

There was a teenager sitting in one of four leather massage chairs on the lower level of the mall when the woman fell onto him, striking his head. At the mall, custodians were seen wrapping the four chairs in black plastic to take them out.

The student was identified by family members as Derrik Munoz, 17, who attends Amityville High School.

What up With "My Flow So Tight" and Chris Brown?

This is a Anti Chris Brown song that has been growing like a weed on the radio front. This is all in light of recent allegations or the attack of Rihanna. This is deserved if you ask me and you are! But this person definitely has some balls and a real conscience! Rihanna don't marry a JERK like Chris!

One line in the song says, "Chris Brown should get his a-- kicked." Radio stations in Los Angeles, New York and Chicago have begun to play the song, The Associated Press reports.

According to the Smoke Jumpers' Web site, "A portion of the proceeds [from the song] will benefit various organizations for battered women." No further details were available about which charity the funds would be going to.

"I was really upset with the way a lot of celebrities and people were handling the situation. Not enough people were speaking out against Chris Brown," one of the group's members, C.W. Griz, told the AP about the R&B singer, who is scheduled to be arraigned Monday. "What he [allegedly] did was a thousand percent wrong. We're not trying to take advantage of a horrible situation. We want to take a positive stance."
