People Want their Own postal code? 252 Really!

REQUEST has been made to secure an individual postcode for the Mytholmroyd and Cragg Vale area.

The villages have always used HX7, which is the same as nearby Hebden Bridge but that is causing increasing confusion, according to Hebden Royd Town councillor John Beacroft-Mitchell.

"Mytholmroyd and Cragg Vale have close geographic and civic relationships with Hebden Bridge, but are separate communities with different characters and economic needs.

"Urgent parcels are sometimes delayed or returned to senders because of mix-ups over the database," he said.
