pushed back twice: Youth in Revolt

Has anyone heard of this movie or novel? (Youth In Revolt)
Well first of all, the novel was first (of course) and is written by C.D. Payne.

It is about a boy called Nick (played by Michael Cera) who is actually pretty young to be sex obsessed but he his. So the whole story is about how he finds his dream girl and wants her to take his virginity. Ok. Sounds like a funny story that seems to deal with puberty.

So why got the release date of the movie delayed again? The book was successful and the cast is filled with fresh teens.

Personally, I think, since the book is already published, meaning that the content is available for everyone, it can't be censorship. There hasn't been a trailer or any marketing activity so that could be one reason. Although this push-back might be a cheap promotion in itself.


I will leave it up to you- What do you think why this movie got rescheduled again? And do you wanna see it therefore as bad as I do?
