Lil Wayne interview with Katie Couric! LMAO!

This week Lil Wayne went head-to-head with Katie Couric in an interview to promote this year's Grammy awards. The interview seemed to be unlikely pairing, but with his eight Grammy nominations, Lil Wayne is clearly the man of the hour and the person to help boost CBS's nightly news ratings.

The interview hit all the hard hitting issues including Lil Wayne's shiny grill, his tattoos, and swagga, or as Katie put it, his "tude". Other highlights include:

Lil Wayne's sensitive side. When asked why he dropped the "D" from his real name, "Dwayne" the rapper tells Katie that he's a junior and never had his father in his life. I don't want to be Dwayne; I'd rather be Wayne.
Lil Wayne's secret passion. The rapper has bowled since he was 16. That doesn't mean he's a pro though. During the interview, Lil Wayne threw a couple of gutter balls while bowling with Katie Couric. He jokingly requests they be edited out. Of course CBS would never consider doing that. Kick them while they're down!
Lil Wayne's drug use. We all know about Lil Wayne's reported drug use from his arrests last year. Katie asks him about his addiction to prescription cough syrup, which he never fully admits to completely giving up. When Katie states, You also reportedly like…like your weed, Wayne proudly retorts, I will stand up for marijuana anyday…I'm a rapper. That's who I am, Ms Katie, and I am a gangsta.
