2009 Grammy's Lil Wayne, Jazmine Sullivan, Coldplay and More!

According to the LA Times, With eight nominations, Lil Wayne leads the way heading into Sunday's 51st annual Grammy Awards, but Coldplay could steal the night with its seven nominations, including spots in the top three categories of album, record and song of the year.

Lil Wayne's album "Tha Carter III" earned him a spot among the top album nominees, along with Coldplay's "Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends," Ne-Yo's "Year of the Gentleman," Radiohead's "In Rainbows" and Robert Plant and Alison Krauss' "Raising Sand."

Coldplay is also up for record of the year for "Viva La Vida," while Plant and Krauss are nominated for "Please Read the Letter." Also nominated in the category are Adele for "Chasing Pavements," Leona Lewis for "Bleeding Love" and M.I.A. for "Paper Planes."

In the song of the year category -- which recognizes songwriters -- the nominees are Estelle and Kanye West's "American Boy," Adele's "Chasing Pavements," Jason Mraz's "I'm Yours," Sara Bareilles' "Love Song" and Coldplay's "Viva La Vida."

Adele, Duffy, Jonas Brothers, Lady Antebellum and Jazmine Sullivan are nominated for best new artist.

Coldplay's "Viva La Vida" also earned a nomination for best pop performance by a duo or group, along with the Eagles ("Waiting in the Weeds"), Gnarls Barkley ("Going On"), Maroon 5 ("Won't Go Home Without You") and OneRepublic ("Apologize").
